Successor blog

Yes! Finally there is more where this brilliance came from (finally, guys!)

But, it is a radically new direction for me as you can follow my misguided quest to become (or not really actually become) a sitcom writer here:

Death To Music = Dead

I’ve had this blog still less than a year… and I was going to try to stretch it out so I had a full year with it but its just reached the point where I just don’t really have the time or inclination to do it anymore so ANYWAY, its been really fun. To all lonely indie music nerds out there with far too much time on their hands and opinions they want to get across to a small audience somehow and interview a few good bands then I would DEFINITELY, 100% recommend starting a blog. Since I started Death To Music my life has just got better and better. I’m now an out-and-out winner with a much better-developed writing style and an acexcore girlfriend and everything. And I run a university society that puts on cool music-related events and I’m genuinely happy and stuff and EVERYTHING. So yeah. I’m not saying I owe literally all of that to writing this blog, but its certainly helped. Well, anyway, the flipside of how great my life is now is that I don’t really have time to write this anymore. If you want to read stuff I’ve written in future, all probably three of you or something who still read this, then you’ll have to just check The Line Of Best Fit regularly. Either that or just search my name in the field for articles I’ve written since they introduced the tagging-with-names-of-writers system. Also, keep updated with the latest MRBLKRSHRRRR news on our myspace and also support Ace Bushy Striptease 4lyfe.

All you moany, tweexcore kids out there, just remember: you can do it too. You can be a winner just like me. You just have to believe in yourself.

I may or may not post a list of my favourite albums of the year somewhen in December.

Goodbye forever! – Tom xxxxx

Tired of how lazy and phoned-in my blog is?

Read a piece of music writing I'm actually proud of here.

I think this printscreen is pretty self-explanatory (BSM sampler-centric)

Or would be if you could see it all... oh man this was going to be a really good time-saving idea. Anyway get the new Big Scary Monsters sampler, it has an ace Tubelord song on. AND IT IS FREE. www.bsmrocks.com

This blog is basically Big Scary Monsters propoganda central at the moment, but thats probs mostly because I'm increasingly willing to save time by publishing everything I'm spoon-fed by press people.

Amanaplan- Silver Keys

Amanaplan is Michael and Lorien from Cats In Paris's sideproject which sounds more hip-hoppy and stuff. Michael is probs some sort of genius, but I'm pretty much basing this on the fact that aside from Cats In Paris he also does Michael's Exciting Life too, Lorien must be pretty talented as well. Its ace. 'Silver Keys' in particular is a really really good and I listen to it all the time almost as much as I listen to Colon Open Bracket. This is because they're both at the top of my iTunes. Anyway, listen to it. It has cool sped-up vocals and stuff.
